Through his experience working with affluent families, growing businesses and dynamic entrepreneur clients, Cam knows what drives prosperous people and helps his clients meet their goals.
Cam helps his clients plan for the harmonious transfer of wealth, whether that is through estate planning or family business succession planning. His experience and his continued education (LL.M – Masters of Laws in Estate Planning) in the area of estate planning has given his client’s confidence in his ability to craft wills, trusts, family limited partnerships and other necessary estate documents to preserve, protect and transfer a client’s assets during life and upon death. Cam has a particular interest in family businesses as he has long been associated with his family’s four generation old law firm. From formation to sale, Cam has the experience to advise business owners or Board of Directors on issues including initial corporate setup, employment, contracts, leases, licensing, buying or selling stock or assets, transferring ownership or management to a family member or employee and other related issues. He also uses his advocacy skills to help his business clients in business disputes and litigation matters when needed.
Cam also represents businesses and individuals with the buying, selling, financing/re-financing and leasing of real estate. He is a title agent with Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and therefore can write title for commercial or residential real estate transactions. Cam also represents lenders for commercial loans and he and his real estate team at RMZ Law efficiently and effectively close loan transactions. Additionally, Cam is experienced in commercial evictions which he performs for his clients that are commercial real estate owners and property management companies.
In summary, Cam serves his business and individual clients in the practice areas of Estate Planning and Probate, Business Contracts, Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Succession Planning, Banking, Real Estate Transactions and Commercial and Real Estate Litigation.
