Linda Fresneda Llerena

Associate

Linda Llerena was born in Cuba, raised in Venezuela and eventually resettled in South Florida. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Criminology from Florida International University. Following her passion for the law, she attended Nova Southeastern University Law School, where she received her Juris Doctor Degree. While in law school, Ms. Llerena was a junior staff member and ultimately an associate editor of the Nova Law Review.

Ms. Llerena enjoys writing about pressing legal issues and has been a published author twice. She authored  “The Aftermath of International Conflicts: Veterans Domestic Violence Cases and Veterans Treatment Courts” and also co-authored “What Do Prisoners and Zoo Animals Have in Common? They Have More Protection From Physical Violence Than School Children in Nineteen States”, concerning corporal punishment of children in schools.

Ms. Llerena previously worked at a consumers defense and civil litigation firm in Fort Lauderdale and eventually joined Lawcraft, where she concentrated in creditor’s rights litigation and recovery. At RMZ,  she continues to zealously represent creditors in litigation. Ms. Llerena is admitted to the Florida Bar and to the Southern District of Florida. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
